OTRBasketball was created January 26th, 2005, by Brandon Neal, in hopes to build and manage a community of basketball fans that not only shared their knowledge of the game, but to promote mature discussion and a great atmosphere while doing so.

Since that day, OTR (which stands for On The Real) has slowly pieced together the ideal family of members. While OTRBasketball isn’t known for having thousands of members and millions of posts in the many years it has been up, it has reached over a half a million posts, but better yet, the site’s dedicated fans have grown to love OTR for what it truly is: a basketball fanatic’s getaway, a second home when your favorite team is playing…or even when they aren’t.

Owned by Brandon Neal (Real Deal) and Aaron Sanders (alcstarheel), OTRBasketball’s disciplined and experienced staff eat, sleep and breathe OTR on a daily basis, and strive to encourage activity not only as a fellow member, but as a role model.
